We're Environmental!

So as a teacher I try to expose my kids to as much environmental print as possible and this is just taking it to another level.
This is my find at The 2011 Safety Harbor Arts and Crafts Show today.  It's by a local husband and wife team "By The Letter" who specializes in custom letter photography.  They were great!  Very helpful and obviously incredibly talented.  It cost $6 a letter and that includes the frame WITH mountings.

Now the challenge is to find the perfect spot for it in the house...

Teacher Appreciation Round-Up

Okay so this may seem a little vain to show you how much I am loved but these are GREAT ideas.  Ones I will steal when the time comes to make them for Natalie's teacher...AHHH!  Over Teacher Appreciation WEEK I received one of these gifts each day.

Our Favorite Mommy Times

So I've been a Mommy for almost 2 1/2 years and have loved every minute of it!  I have been one of those Mommies who want every minute recorded and documented.  I save EVERYTHING- I mean down to the baseball ticket from this past weekend with HER SEAT NUMBER ON IT!  (Slight OCD or Hoarding?)
But it got me thinking- I kept the ticket because I want to remember her seat and how much fun we had and all the new things she learned about there.
So, what are some of your favorite moments with your kids?  Not with your family...I'm talking simply Mommy and Me time!
Then I went a step further and put those ideas into neat little candy tags that I am making for my circle of Moms...It's like getting 2 gifts in 1.  First the candy and then the stroll down memory lane!
*I am new to Scribd so bear with me if this doesn't work*
I have 2 sets of the tags- here and here...
Enjoy celebrating all the Moms in your life!

Everyone's Wedding Is Royal...

Just like everyone in the world- I was up bright and early (5 am my time) to watch Will and Kate marry.  My grade level had a party at school for the whole staff that morning as well and you guessed it- it was a royal wedding theme!  Thanks to Design Editor and The TomKat Studio for providing free printables for the event!

I made a Fascinator for myself- couldn't go too crazy because I had a field trip that day.  It  was pretty simple.

{Fancy Feathery Fascinator}
{Royal entrance}
{Festive bunting}
{Table decor}
{Food table}

{Royal Silverware}
{Food labels}

{Our Royal Court}

Could not get enough of the Royal Wedding!
